The Bonita-Estero Woman’s Club (BEWC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the community through philanthropic activities and volunteer service. We service Lee County in southwest Florida and would welcome any women who wishes to live the volunteer spirit. 

 

The Club formally operates October through April each year and holds summer "socials" for our full-time members.  We host a number of educational and charitable events during the season and promote friendship among women in addition to our philanthropic and volunteer programs.

The Bonita-Estero Woman’s Club was officially organized in October 2021 and is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The six goal-minded women who founded the Club are all members of the GFWC Naples Woman’s Club. Five were past Presidents and one was a former Vice President. With three of those six members residing in Lee County, they knew the community would benefit greatly from the good deeds of a GFWC Woman’s Club.  Once all six ladies were committed, they pressed forward and now are a fruitful, growing Club of 44 members--all in just under four months.

 

The membership consist of an amazing group of women with very diverse skills, talents, and history, but with one thing in common… they love their community. These women are strong and beautiful inside and out, and when all of those elements come together, great things happen. Since its inception in October, the Club has organized THREE community service projects (first was the Christmas toy drive for Reflective Spaces Ministry, second was the clothing drive for the FigLeaf Boutique--a partner with Into The Jordan, and going on in the month of March is the "Luncheons for a Cause" to raise money for a mature woman's scholarship). 

 

These ladies are steamrolling their way through Lee County and creating meaningful differences along their path. There isn't anything they cannot accomplish with their collective efforts and entrepreneurial ideas.   

 

The BEWC is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), an international organization of woman’s clubs dedicated to volunteer service. The Club is non-partisan and non-denominational.
